There’s nothing quite like a furry baby in a costume to make you smile and forget all about the federal election. Just one day after Canadians cast their ballots, a new and exciting Toronto-based tech startup called Pawzy.co celebrated its official launch with a Halloween dog costume party.
Pawzy.co is the brainchild of Kerri-Lynn McAllister, the former CMO of Lift & co. and RateHub. She says her love for animals and her passion for tech inspired her to break out on her own.
“I’m a comparison shopper to the max. I want the most information to make the best decision. I saw that this service needed to exist for pet health to help people find the right vet or insurance product.”
Kerri-Lynn has two furry babies. Her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were at hand for the official launch of Pawzy.co dressed up as an angel and a jailbird. When they weren’t busy playing with their new friends, there were treats galore and even pet tarot readings!
The toughest part was trying to figure out what food to feed my Maltipoo, how to best train him and, of course, which vet to choose. There are a lot of options out there and let me tell you, not all of it is good. As a consumer you have to do a lot of research to find the products and services that work best for you. And even then, there is a lot of trial and error involved.Pawzy.co’s mission is to give pet owners the tools and information they need to connect them with the best advice and services — right at their fingertips.
